Voter ID Requirements
Ohio has new voter ID requirements that all voters need to know about. Utility bills, bank statements, paychecks, birth certificates and social security cards are NOT ACCEPTABLE forms of ID under the new law.
All voters should plan their voter ID now - if their driver’s license has an old address listed, voters must have their new address is listed on their voter registration.

Voter ID Resources
Voters casting a ballot in-person will need to show an accepted ID under Ohio’s new voter ID law. Find which IDs are accepted here and here.
Remember, if your photo ID has an old address listed, you can still use it to vote as long as your updated address is in your registration.
If you have any concerns about having the correct ID, you can vote early by mail without an ID. You will need to provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number instead.
