Advocates for Ohio’s Future is pleased to welcome Wendy Patton, Senior Project Director for Policy Matters Ohio, back to the coalition’s Executive Committee as an At-Large member. Wendy previously served as AOF’s Public Policy Committee Chair and is a long-time member of the AOF Steering Committee.
Wendy works for Policy Matters Ohio as a Senior Project Director in the area of tax and budget. Over the course of her career, Wendy has worked for Governor Ted Strickland as an executive assistant, for the Ohio State University and the Columbus Urban Growth Corporation in real estate development, for the Ohio Employee Ownership Center and the Ohio Department of Development in business development and workforce training, for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees international union as an economic policy analyst and prior to that, as technical staff in transportation planning, workforce development and information technology.
Wendy earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Kent State University and Master of City Planning (regional economics) from the University of California, Berkeley.
