On July 1, Ohio became the first state to implement a comprehensive case management and employment program (CCMEP) to increase access to education and work opportunities for Ohio youth between the ages of 16 and 24. By integrating aspects of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Ohio is creating a common experience for youth with the goal of improving education and employment outcomes.
In AOF’s webinar our speakers provide an overview of the program, an update from counties about their plans and experience with the program, and next steps for the new wraparound services program.
