Senate committee adds drug-testing pilot Read more news...

In a substitute bill unveiled today, the Senate Finance Committee added to HB 487, the Mid-Biennium Review, a pilot program to test welfare recipients for drugs.

Advocates for Ohio’s Future opposes this effort. Lisa Hamler-Fugitt, executive director of the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks, testified against this provision today on behalf of AOF and her association.
