Owens highlighted the need for investment in Ohio’s health and human services programs in the proposed state budget bill.
“We need targeted investments in our greatest asset – our people. A budget is a moral document. It must reflect our most basic and cherished values, and be accountable to the needs of all Ohioans,” stated Owen to the press.
Advocates for Ohio’s Future believes that the Senate should utilize available resources to better the lives of all Ohioans. These resources should be used to ensure good jobs, revitalize human services systems, provide quality health care and help Ohioans afford the basics.
